I tried this rubber out as a dedicated chopper. The chopping performance is really high! It holds the ball down solidly, chops come out with brutal spin, and from push control to cutting spin, no complaints at all. When I counter-attack, it doesn't quite match a tension rubber, but it still has plenty of power!

This is a rubber that shows your true skill level, for better or worse. It's hard for intermediate players to produce a knuckle effect with it, but it's easy to put spin on and very easy to use overall. If you're an advanced player, I think you could get some really high performance out of it. It really shows that Coach Liu Guoliang was involved in developing it!

With its light weight and spin, you can just keep pushing forward, haha. For those of us used to modern tension rubbers, the lightness is honestly surprising. It's very easy to use, spin comes easily, and since it's light it also helps you swing faster!

Placement-focused drives and sharply-cut chops are super easy to do, but it struggles with drives meant to blow the point in one shot, so I'd say it suits choppers. If all you do is chop, opponents start taking you lightly, but with this rubber your drives won't miss and they carry plenty of spin too, so your opponent is guaranteed to get nervous! Good for beginner and intermediate choppers!

I'd say this might be the short pips rubber with the most spin among the speed-oriented ones. Spectol really lives up to its long sales history — it's a high-performing rubber!
