This is a pretty easy-to-use speed-oriented rubber. These days, something like the Plaxon 350 feels similar. It doesn't get as much spin as the Plaxon, but as a rubber for someone just starting out in table tennis, its performance is more than good enough. I think you could aim to build up your skill level with this rubber for the first year to a year and a half of playing! Since it's easy to get spin on, you get speed while still staying stable, so I'd recommend it for beginners who dream of fast rallies, on both the forehand and backhand!

It's soft for the forehand, but I think it's fine for beginners - tough for intermediate players though. The topspin drive is easy to hit. The ball sinks in nicely, so forehand curve drives and shoot drives come easily too. If you loop drive against a heavily backspun ball, it comes back with a ton of spin and dips down. But be careful, it's quite easily affected by incoming spin.

This is Mark V with a bit of tackiness added. Mark V itself is a hugely popular rubber, but I bet not many people know about this semi-tacky version. It feels like it keeps Mark V's easy-to-use character while making it easier to get spin! Since Mark X is a rubber that can do a bit of everything, this one feels like it keeps that same all-around Mark V performance while boosting the spin. Compared to modern tension rubbers, the raw numbers on each stat are lower, but that's exactly what makes it so easy to use!

This is a pretty standard short pips rubber. It doesn't produce a ton of knuckle balls or crazy amounts of spin, but the control is excellent! The ball goes exactly where you expect. It suits choppers who like to create their own variation rather than attack much and just chop everything down. I'd also say the push is quite good among short pips rubbers! I'd recommend it to shakehand players using short pips on the backhand who like a solid, precise-cut feel.

Let me say this up front — Feint Long 2 changes character completely if you go with the ultra-thin version.
I'd normally call it a fairly stability-oriented rubber, but in the ultra-thin version it confuses opponents with its variation and spin. I do feel the consistency drops a bit as a trade-off...
The push isn't quite as good as the No. 3 thickness, but it's still workable even in the ultra-thin version.
For long pips users who feel that the No. 3 or Curl P-4 don't give enough variation, I'd definitely recommend this rubber!Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
