This rubber is all about variation and control. It doesn't generate much spin, but you can win points with the kind of blocks that are typical of short pips, and the control is good, so it's easy to build a pattern of placing the ball and finishing with a hard forehand hit! Recommended for players switching to short pips or for those who value variation in their game!

This is a rubber that scores points through pushes and spin-reversal performance. The range of variation on pushes is huge! If you can master it as a chopper, it becomes a huge weapon — your chops can send devastatingly spinny balls, and then in contrast your pushes are fast! If you're someone who can practice patiently, give it a try!

This is the safe and reliable Spectrum rubber lol. I heard Chinese female choppers use tacky rubber, Def Play Senso, and Spectrum, so I tried copying them, but Spectrum seems really hard to master. It was too much for me — without the technique you just can't get spin on it. It's easy to produce knuckle balls, but a really ripping chop only comes with practice. If you can practice patiently, give it a try — it's a really high-performance rubber!

A friend had one so I tried it out, and even as someone who normally uses long pips, I was like "whoa, what is this rubber doing" lol. Of course the pips don't collapse the way long pips do, so it doesn't have that same stability or spin-reversal you get from long pips, but I'd say it's kind of like the Curl P-3. The push shots feel really unpleasant to receive — they wobble a ton and come in as a slightly-downward knuckle ball, so if you don't swing through properly you'll end up missing or handing your opponent an easy ball. If you know the Dr. Neubauer Killer Pro rubber, it's close to that, so take that as a reference!

Nittaku really puts out these super cheap rubbers with unique performance, haha, testing them out is fun. This one is more like an easy-to-use short pips rubber than actual long pips. If you go in expecting long pips, you'll find the variation is limited, but if you use it like short pips, you'll be surprised at how good the performance is! The chopping performance is outstanding, and it responds really well when you need a quick block. Chop-blocks close to the table don't have much variation either, but they stop the ball solidly. I can recommend this to defense-oriented choppers!
