I'd describe it as a slightly tacky tension rubber — sink the ball in and it bounces back. Techniques like pushes, stops, and serves, where the impact doesn't really reach into the sponge, are very easy to do. Think of something like Yasaka's Shoryu, but this one doesn't bounce as much as the Shoryu does. Chops don't bounce much, so they cut really well, and since the sponge doesn't buckle, it performs great on defensive techniques. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone interested in slightly tacky or tacky rubbers!

This rubber feels like something in between the Curl P-4 and the Feint Long 3. One of the appeals of long pips is the value for money, and this rubber is cheap right from the list price too! Trying out something like Tenergy feels like a big hurdle, but with this rubber I think pretty much anyone could give it a try without much barrier, haha. It's a rubber with no quirks and easy to use! Things like pushes work well, and it stays under control even on reflex blocks. It's not suited for players whose style relies on the kind of unpredictable variation you get from something like the Curl P-1.

This rubber feels like something between the Curl P-4 and the Feint Long III. One of the big draws of long pips is the value for money, and this one's list price is cheap too! Trying a Tenergy feels like a big step to take, but with this rubber pretty much anyone can give it a try, right? Lol. It has no weird quirks and is easy to use! It's great for pushes, and it also blocks reflex shots solidly. That said, it doesn't produce much variation, so it's best for beginners to long pips, or for advanced players who can create their own variation!

This rubber is basically the VS>401, lol.
When it comes to chopping, I honestly can't tell what's different from the 401. If I did a blind test, I wouldn't be confident I could tell them apart — it has a slightly stronger tension-rubber feel than the 401, but it's pretty much the same.
Fine defensive technique gets top marks with this one. Even on chops, it makes that sharp, high-pitched "crack" sound while it feels like it releases the incoming energy, which keeps the ball under control! And it cuts really well! If you don't mind a hard rubber, I think you'll be surprised when you try it!Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

It really feels like a true Tenergy.
Personally, I think it's a rubber that takes the best of both the 05 and 64!
It has excellent spin performance, but since it's not as hard as the 05, you can really dig the ball into the sponge and still get spin; it's fast, and since it's harder than the 64 it puts out powerful shots.
Of course, it's not all good.
This applies to the whole Tenergy series, but receiving is really tough... If you're not at a level where you can properly read your opponent's spin, you end up being someone who plays great in practice but can't win matches. Since the price has gotten pretty high these days, I'd recommend it for someone who already has a solid feel for the game, maybe as a switch right before an important tournament!Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
