I guess in the end, Hurricane is really the rubber to pair it with lol. Japanese players, who are all about tension rubber these days, might not love it, but the performance is genuinely high, so I'd definitely recommend it to tacky rubber users!

It feels like a bouncier version of the Ao from the currently-buzzing Wa no Kiwami series. It has a solid core, so it doesn't get pushed around by hard hits, and when you swing hard yourself, the blade responds right with you!

Personally, I think the rubbers Joola should be proud of are the Rhyzm and this Octopus. The value for money is excellent, and the performance is quite high too. It feels like a rubber that fixes the one weakness of the Curl P-1 — the push — so I'd recommend it to choppers.
