This was my first ever short pips rubber. The first thing I noticed using it was the outstanding control! I was a bit confused at first, but after about 10 minutes of practice I got used to it quickly. And the ball goes exactly where I intend it to!! ← I was honestly impressed by how good the control is!!
Next is speed. I use long serves a lot in matches, and honestly the speed is just okay. Of course smashes and the like work just fine, so no real problem there.
Last is spin. I was a little worried switching over from inverted rubber, but it grips plenty of spin! Loop drives in particular were a breeze!
Definitely a rubber I'd recommend to anyone trying short pips for the first time!

This rubber is genuinely fantastic. It outperforms the Neo3 in every way, and since the sponge was changed from the old-style base to a springy, high-elasticity sponge, it's also become easier to sink the ball in on drives. It has a different feel from the Skyline, which is in the same family.
A certain table tennis manufacturer reviewed it as having the same feel on contact as the Neo3, but I found this one easier to sink the ball into, so it felt considerably softer to me.
Drives are also easier to lift, and you're guaranteed to have the upper hand in push-versus-push exchanges.
By the way, that distinctive smell from the old-style base that everyone hated is gone too, making this a really excellent rubber.

It bounces way too much! It seriously bounces, so pushes, stops, and the like are basically hopeless! Might be fine once you get used to it though...
Rallies are great though! Even a light touch bounces, so you can hit fast drives even from mid-distance. The long serve is absolutely top-notch!
The spin is so-so... I feel like Mark V grips the ball more.

Every technique is easy to pull off. High spec no matter what you're doing! The extension on my topspin drive is ridiculous! It's a bit on the hard side though, so it won't put spin on the ball for you automatically. Just keep that in mind.

This rubber is really wonderful. The feel on contact is quite similar to Hurricane — it's like Hurricane with extra bounce and a lower trajectory added on. It's truly great, and it meets every one of my requirements for the perfect rubber: "easy to block, a proper tacky feel on contact, and speed when hitting hard."
