Using 1.8mm on my backhand.
It reminded me of the old feeling of coating a Sriver EL with a bouncy glue.
Review by technique:
Backhand drive - the arc is low, but it's still very stable.
It doesn't have that wild, hard-to-tame feeling you got from old-school speed rubbers (lol).
"Just swing and it goes in" - I really felt that with this one.
Smash - the ball flies off with a satisfying metallic sound.
I've always been bad at smashing with soft rubbers, but once the ball sinks in you can really aim it? It reminds me of Vega Europe.
Block/push - this might be this rubber's specialty?
It's just really easy to use overall. I normally use short pips on my backhand, but I felt like this rubber isn't very sensitive to the opponent's spin, so I could hit with the same feeling, and I think going inverted on both sides could work with this rubber.
Serve - it's easier to aim for placement than to load up on spin.
Getting the feel for a short, cutting serve is tricky, but I guess that just comes with practice.
Receive - this also works like short pips.
I really felt how easy a rubber that's not very sensitive to the opponent's spin is to use.
Push - unless I was really conscious of it, the ball popped up right away for me (lol).
But if you focus on cutting through the ball, you can hit a fast, low push.I've praised it a lot, but I think its durability is among the worst out there.

It felt great on LC, but
on SC I could only get light balls out of it.
I get that it depends on the blade/arm combo, but
it suits a springier blade better.
With a grippier blade the ball really comes out light,
and you can tell it's light the instant you hit it.
Honestly, Shoryu is the safer choice overall.
Even if you're careful peeling the rubber off, it tears (crying).

This is my second time (lol)
Looking at various reviews,
a lot of people said it works well on the backhand, so I gave it a try.
My main setup is short pips on the backhand.The softness that felt lacking when I used it on my forehand
somehow feels spot on when used on the backhand ♪
The soft feel is still there,
but drives, flat hits, and blocks all just feel easy to handle.
If they release a 1.8mm version, I'd love to make it my permanent backhand rubber.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

Someone from TSP let me try one on loan
and I picked it based on the feel alone.
The great thing about this blade is that it responds exactly to how much power I put in.
I've got 102 on my backhand
and I can properly stop, punch, apply spin, and knuckle block.
It also doesn't bounce excessively
so as long as I play it properly, the blade doesn't do anything unexpected on its own.
I've got Shoryu on my forehand
and it really matches well.
I've been able to add more variety to my topspin drives.
You do need to open the racket angle, of course, but
neither the Shoryu nor the SC does anything unpredictable.

I used the red 2.0.
It's really squishy.
When you hit the ball, it's not so much squishy as
the ball sinking in comes through incredibly clearly in your hand.
It felt almost like picking the ball up in your hand.
My blade is the springy type,
and this feeling is a bit similar to Nittaku's Zalt, but without that weak, collapsing feeling.
Speed, spin, and control —
I got totally hooked.
Way easier to use than Vega Europe.
It's also easy on the wallet,
so even people who've been using hard rubbers should try it once — it really lets you play with your shoulders relaxed.Edit ♪
The topspin drive really flies!
Depending on your swing you can hit either a high arcing trajectory or a flat one
— both work!
Even if your smash angle is a little off it's still fine.
