Not quite as much as the VC, but it still bounces a lot
If you smash hard with a soft rubber, the rubber compresses and you get basically no feel at all on impact
I'd recommend a harder rubber
once you go 47 degrees or above, this blade's strengths really come out
it's really made for hard hitters
if someone without much power uses it, I think you'll end up with a lot of flat, straight balls
that's not to say you can't do small technical shots though
with a hard rubber you can do them just fine
but with a soft rubber the ball just flies off on its own (lol)
if you want to use the AC, I think the AFC is actually easier to use.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Hard

I love the Firefall series,
and I own everything except the VC and HC.
The LC is described as a lightweight version of the SC,
but I actually feel like this one bounces more while still keeping good control.
Even when I put a soft rubber on it, the feel isn't mushy at all —
the rubber's own qualities really came through.
It's a special-material blade,
but I feel it's fine even for a beginner to buy as their very first blade.
It flies if you swing through properly,
but it won't fly too much even for a beginner kid.
On the backhand, V>01 Stiff balances really well with it,
and if you don't mind the weight,

It's a rubber that appeals to everyone.
I used it on my backhand, and it handled drives, meeting the ball, chiquita, serves, and receives all competently.
For the price, as a backhand inverted rubber it was about as solid as the Fly Att Spin.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

I tried both at max thickness.
Overall, Shoryu had more power across the board in various shots.
That said, for loop drives when brushing the ball, Kiryu gripped more, and it also got more spin on serves.
This loop drive quality is quietly really good, with excellent control too, and it caused the opponent to block the ball long quite often.
I was tempted to switch to Kiryu at that point.
But prioritizing overall play
I settled on Shoryu ♪
Ease of meeting the ball on drives
Speed of counters
Ease of flicking in the short game
Movement on blocks
Kiryu is said to be more stable
but I think if you have some power, Shoryu is the safer, more well-rounded choice.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
