This is a STIGA classic.
It bounces way more than you'd expect from a 5-ply ♪
Close to the table or on forehand hitting, it has that hard, quick-release feel typical of hardwood, but when you swing bigger from mid-distance or away from the table, you can feel it flex.
The first time you use it, the difference in feel between close-to-the-table and away-from-the-table play might throw you off, but once you get used to it, it becomes a powerful weapon.
Since it's on the lighter side, you can still swing all the way through even with heavier rubbers.
Pushes and stop shots feel a little uncontrolled. With tacky rubber, though, that weak point gets covered, so I really do feel STIGA blades pair best with tacky rubber.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little hard

It's on the harder side, so it suits the forehand, but if you can swing through properly, I think it works on the backhand too.
There's quite a bit of variation between individual sheets, so I'd recommend buying by specified weight or having it weighed for you.
The arc height is just right — a bit lower than Tenergy 05 — so I think it suits close-to-mid-distance play.
It's a non-slip sheet so you never slip, but be careful, since it's quite affected by your opponent's spin.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

This blade doesn't bounce much when you want to hold back on chops, but bounces when you want to attack with a hard shot.
So the balance between offense and defense is good and it's really easy to handle!
That said, it still bounces more on chops than something like the Defplay 4, so I'd recommend it more for intermediate to advanced players.
The design is also nicely understated and cool.
I really think this is a blade built for modern chopping style.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

It's labeled Soft, but I think it's a normal hardness. There's about a ±5 variance in hardness between units, so I'd recommend weighing it before you buy.
I have it on my backhand, but it would suit the forehand too. It doesn't bounce on its own unexpectedly, so I think it's a really easy rubber to handle. Since it's a non-slip sheet, it really doesn't slip, but be careful because it's also easily affected by the opponent's spin.

This is a very versatile rubber with great value for money.
I had it on my backhand for a long time.
Personally, I'd recommend it on the backhand for men, and on the forehand for women and junior players. If you pair it with something like TSP Swat, I think it makes a combo with great value that also lasts a long time.
