As expected of Vega... a great rubber for the price.
A friend of mine was using it and let me try it.
First, the grip on the ball is great - even angling the blade down, the arc still rises upward, which already tells you a lot.You can feel the strength of the sheet, but the feel of the hit clearly lets you sense the ball sinking in.
I feel like it brings out the rubber's strengths more on a shakehand backhand or the reverse side of a penhold, but if you like a soft rubber, it might be worth trying on the forehand too.

The sponge is now the "Hybrid Energy Sponge," and the bounce has definitely gone up.
It really does bounce noticeably more.
On top of that, since it's a soft sponge, the ball sinks in well and spin is even easier to generate.
It's a soft sponge, but it doesn't buckle under pressure, so it's a rubber that even players with a strong impact can swing with confidence.
This is definitely a rubber that will appeal to a wide range of players, so if you're tired of today's tension rubbers, going back to Mark V with its new sponge might feel refreshing...Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

This is the Rasanter that was all the buzz for a while.
My impression after hitting with it is that the ball flies in a pretty straight line.
Maybe because it's a thin sheet, but flat hitting is easier than you'd expect for a spin-oriented tension rubber.
If you want balance in a rubber rather than just cranking heavy topspin drives all the time, this is easy to use and I'd recommend it.
That said, even though the sponge hardness is rated at a softer 42 degrees, it actually felt fairly hard when I hit with it.
This might also be related to the thickness, but if you like a really soft, mushy rubber, I'd suggest test-hitting it before buying.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Compared to the normal Airoc, the sheet has more grip, but in exchange the feel is harder.
There's a sense of the sponge grabbing the ball, and even if you're a bit late on the ball it still draws a nice arc, so I think this is a rubber I can recommend to rally-type players.
The absolute amount of spin isn't that high, but the feel of your own stroke comes through clearly, so I'd like people who don't get along with the typical German hitting feel to give it a try.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

It's part of the Vega series, but this one doesn't have a carbon sponge.
The sheet feels moist and the friction doesn't feel that strong — though that's only compared to high-grip rubbers like the Omega or Evolution.
It does lose out in power on the forehand of strong male players, but it has no quirks and gives a clear feel on contact.
The ball tends to land in your opponent's court easily, so I think even non-beginners can be fully satisfied with this rubber.
Also, being a soft rubber, you can really feel the ball sinking into the sponge, which makes it satisfying to hit with.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft
