I've had this on my backhand for about a year. It's a stable rubber with almost no weak points when playing close to the table. It's soft and the ball sinks in easily, so you get consistent shots with a decent amount of spin. The blocking and countering are wonderfully stable — so stable that switching to another rubber makes my blocks feel dull, and I just can't bring myself to change ^^;
Both grazing shots and flat hits are stable, but grazing doesn't generate much speed, so you need to hit flat to really punch through.
When it comes to mid-distance topspin rallies, you lose a lot of energy on your drives, so I'd say this suits all-forehand players who want a stable backhand, or intermediate players who've been playing table tennis for about a year.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I bought it for my forehand... but at first it felt hard to use — it's not easy to lift backspin (the topsheet is thin), and given that, the power isn't all that high and the arc is low. But when I flipped it to the backhand, the block consistency and speed were excellent, and backhand drives that used to come out weak started landing low and deep. On the backhand, both close-to-the-table meet shots and mid-distance drives produced high-quality balls, so it was really good. I didn't feel like it dropped off much against backspin, and pushes and stops stick like crazy — not quite as much as a tacky rubber, but close. Since it's part of the 05 line, a lot of people probably consider it for the forehand, but it's clearly better on the backhand. For the forehand, the G1 is the better choice.

The grip on the ball is so-so, but the ball sinks in well and rises nicely, so forehand drives are really stable overall. The spin on loop-style shots is good too, and since short game techniques like stops don't bounce much, they're quite easy to do. However, there's not much bounce (for a rubber of this hardness), and because the ball sinks in so well, it's hard to get power out of flat, meaty hits. So I think pairing it with a special-material blade could nicely cover that weakness. When I used it on the backhand, the spin became considerable, but the speed was too slow, which made it a bit tough.

In topspin rallies it doesn't grip the ball and doesn't bounce, so it's a pretty disappointing rubber. However, pushes and chops had a lot of spin on them, so I think it could work well on the backhand side for an inverted-inverted chopper setup. On the forehand, it just doesn't have enough offensive power...

The bounce is as weak as a defensive blade, so it might not suit today's plastic balls. Since it doesn't bounce much, I think it's good for learning how to put spin on the ball. But if you put a non-tension control rubber on it, it barely bounces at all and you can't use a flicking stroke. Right now I think pairing it with something like Vega Intro would work well.
