If I had to sum up this rubber in three points, it would be:
1. It's cheap, plain and simple
2. The control is outstanding
3. Among beginner rubbers, it's especially durable

A friend of mine was using this, so here's my review.
Carbon blades really do have a lot of pop, don't they. I'd heard ALC was on the more controlled side,
but coming from someone who's only ever used pure wood blades, this still feels like a blade with a lot of bounce.
I don't think people who like tacky rubber should pick this one. It doesn't suit tacky rubber very well.
Tension rubbers are the way to go after all.
I think Tenergy works well — that's the combo my friend was using, and apparently it's "spin-focused."
This blade really depends a lot on your arm/skill.
If you pick it up for a lightweight reason like "I just like Timo Boll," you'll regret it...Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little hard

A friend of mine had already bought one, so I gave it a try. From what I heard, it's pretty easy to handle and balances every technique well, so it's easy to switch to from other rackets. When I actually hit with it, I could really see what they meant. It grips the ball nicely, and it still has that snappy kick you get from STIGA's wood blades. I can't really recommend it for playing away from the table, but it performs really well close to and at mid-distance from the table. What stuck with me most was how easy it was to pull off a chiquitaaaaa!!

I guess this is the successor to that one that got discontinued last year. Just like that one, it's still very much a beginner racket. The performance is about the same too — you can get up to the entry-level intermediate stage with this racket. It doesn't demand any particular rubber, and it lets you sink the ball, put spin on it, and land it on the other side, no problem. Easy to use.
