It doesn't feel hard at all for its hardness rating. The hardness doesn't bother me one bit - if anything it feels more like a 47.5 degree rubber. That said, it's hard to get the ball to sink into the sponge without some power. But that's fine, since you can still get spin from the tacky surface. Don't give up on it just because you can't get the ball to sink in - brushing it is enough. Smashes also get plenty of speed. The downside is that if you pair it with a lighter blade because it's heavy, the feel is somehow different. That's about the gist of it.

I'd recommend not switching over directly from the Normal version. For some reason, after using the Normal version you can't do anything with this one — but if you leave some time in between, it works fine again. The Normal was more of a backhand rubber, but the PS is more of a forehand rubber. The sheet is soft, so the ball sinks in easily, and combined with the tackiness, speed loop drives are really easy to hit. On loops it grips the ball firmly, so even if you delay your timing a bit the ball still lands on the table, and it becomes heavier than your opponent expects, which can induce an overhit. It's a bit tough to use far from the table, so I'd recommend it for players who play close to the table to mid-distance.

The metallic sound when you smash is intense. For people without much power, it feels like it generates more spin than G-1. Compared to GFT45, another 45-degree rubber, the spin feels a bit weaker, but it feels more stable. If you're torn between different 45-degree rubbers, I think it's worth trying.

It handles any technique competently. Paired with a soft 5-ply blade, it didn't feel hard at all, and I think it works well on both forehand and backhand.
