It's not some watered-down version of Tenergy — both spin and speed are plenty. Above all, blocking is wonderfully stable. If I had to point out anything, it'd be the durability.

As you'd expect from Vega. It has a nice amount of grip on the ball for the backhand too. The weak point is probably that it's a bit fragile.

It doesn't have the kind of standout performance that today's mainstream high-end rubbers do, but if you get the ball to really sink into the sponge, it can basically do everything — the short game, counters, angle shots, you name it. If you try to lift a heavily side-spun ball by just brushing with the sheet, it'll chip off. It's not all that hard, and even players without much power can easily sink the ball into it, so it's a rubber I'd recommend. Ryoichi Yoshiyama, currently at Nihon University, also used to have it on both sides.

It's on the heavy side. I wondered if the design (the color of the plies) and the blade thickness were basically copied from the old Clipper, and honestly, given how good the performance is, maybe that's exactly what happened. Because the blade is thick, it's a bit harder to put spin on, but in exchange you get more speed, so I think it's perfect for anyone who prioritizes punch over spin.

You get what you pay for! Both the spin and speed you can generate are amazing. You get spin whether you sink the ball in or just brush it! It doesn't slip at all — the easiest shot to pull off is the flat hit. Just twist your wrist a little on the racket and the ball drives low and deep into the court. The downsides are the price, the weight, and maybe how niche it is? Pair it with an inner carbon blade and, if you can keep it under control, you can get the absolute most out of it.
