Even in this day and age, I'm a devoted user of all-wood blades.
Of all of them, I can say with confidence that this one performs the best.
Personally I'd put it around the same level as the Eternity VPS?
But this one is way ahead in terms of ball control and holding the ball.
Nordic wood is truly wonderful!!The bounce, spin, and control are all outstanding.
Since it's wood, it's tough to play far from the table like you can with special-material blades, but rallying from mid-distance is no problem at all.The short game and blocking are incredibly easy with this blade.
I'd recommend the thick flared grip (LEGEND).For rubbers, STIGA's own lineup (Genesis, Mantra) and other spin-oriented tension rubbers pair best with it.

This one's for advanced players.
I bought it because it got good reviews on this site.People said it's close to Tenergy 05, but the feel is clearly harder on this one, and I found it harder to control.
Also, maybe because the topsheet is thin, it's more affected by incoming spin, which makes receiving harder. That said, once you get into a rally, this rubber gives you a really high chance of scoring.
I'd recommend using the 2.3mm MAX+ sponge on the forehand. It's too hard for the backhand, so definitely consider Z3 for that side.

As far as I know, this is currently STIGA's most expensive model.
I usually use the regular Rosewood, but I've used this one a few times too. (It's just on display now, lol)It's advertised as bouncier than the regular Rosewood, but probably because the blade is thinner, this one clearly has less bounce.
It does flex more though, so you can get more spin on your drives with this one.If you want a blade with a real premium feel, definitely give this a try.
It might not blow you away performance-wise, but it sure boosts your motivation.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little hard

In a word, the feel is almost like pure wood.
It's super easy to put a ton of spin on topspin drives. That said, it's too thin, which made smashing hard to do.
I personally prefer a blade around 6.0mm.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

You can get it online for 3500 yen.
For that price, it's a really excellent rubber. That said, compared to premium rubbers like Tenergy or Target Pro, it still has some room to improve.
The sheet is pretty hard, so unless you go with a thinner sponge it's hard to put much spin on short backspin balls.
That's probably just personal preference, but I preferred Japanese-made rubbers. It's a lot easier to use than the Omega VII series, and I think even beginners could use it.
