The topsheet is soft and springy, so the ball sinks in easily — even though it's rated medium hardness, it feels softer than that. Compared to G1, spin and speed are a bit lower, but since the ball sinks in so easily it's easier to control, and I find it easier to score off rallies with Rozena. It feels like it suits carbon blades better than all-wood blades, but it's still easy to handle on wood too.

Since the blade doesn't bounce much, it's really easy to control and easy to put spin on the ball. In particular, when using long pips, you can easily produce really wobbly knuckle balls or spun balls, so once you master it you can mix up the variation and confuse your opponent. Honestly, I wouldn't want to play against someone using long pips with this blade.
I'd recommend it to people who want to master penhold pips, or to those with a playing style that waits for the opponent's mistakes with wobbly balls.

This is the fastest in the Fastarc series. It felt even faster than S1 to me. On drives, if you don't get the ball to sink into the sponge it'll drop off. It's easy to play the short game with, and you can make it bounce when you want it to. Hitting flat shots lands deeper on the table than with other rubbers. That said, I think it's difficult for players with a slow swing or not much control.
I'd recommend it to players with a fast swing or who want a solid short game.

You can hit without worrying much about the opponent's spin. Serves and drives felt about what you'd expect for the price, but control on hard shots is really easy to manage. It's a bit soft, so it might feel lacking on the forehand, but I'd love for anyone who prioritizes control to try it.

    User review

No real weaknesses. It's well balanced overall, so it's easy to handle. The speed and spin are just right, so I think it's ideal for learning technique. Control is easy too. If you're a junior high or elementary school kid who's unsure what rubber to use, you really can't go wrong putting Factive on. Blocking and driving are both easy, so I think it's a good rubber for figuring out your playing style.
I'd recommend it to elementary and junior high schoolers who don't know what rubber to choose, or who want to work out their playing style.
