It feels like a lighter GTT45 with the bounce toned down a bit.
If weight isn't a big concern for you, you're probably better off buying the 45 instead.

I can't help comparing it to Mark V - next to it, this has a higher arc and a softer feel. The bounce is maybe about even between the two? I feel like Mark V has less quirkiness.

The topsheet quality is really good, the ball grips well and it's easy to spin. Serves cut well too.
Since it doesn't come in a thick option, the bounce is a bit more subdued compared to something like Vega or Rakza, but the trajectory is flatter, giving an impression of easy control.It's lightweight and easy to handle, and the overall feel is good, so I don't think anyone would come away with a bad impression.

The spec sheet lists it at 70g, but a lot of the actual units are in the low 60g range (if you look hard enough, you might even find one in the 50s!?) — it's very light. Despite that, it has a good feel, and with the balance point toward the handle, handling isn't bad even with rubber on both sides.
That said, the blade thickness is 7.4mm, which is on the thick side, so watch out if that matters to you.The price isn't too high either, so it's a blade I can recommend for someone starting out with a Japanese-penhold, both-sides setup.

The topsheet is probably exactly the same as GTT — the ball grips well and spins nicely.
The sponge is different though, so the shot feel changes: GTT flies in a flatter, more direct line, while Rigan produces a bigger arc. The feel is soft too, and it's great and stable for just "getting the ball back on the table," but it doesn't feel suited to hitting through with quick, snappy shots.Personally I prefer GTT since it's cheaper and the ball flies straighter.
