Just like the title says, this is genuinely great paired with a softer 5-ply wood blade.
The feel on contact has a nice resonance to it, which I personally like.
If you're using it on the forehand, go with max thickness; on the backhand, if you like flat hitting go with 2.0mm, and if you want solid spin go with max thickness.
The topsheet is soft so it's easy to put spin on the ball. Max thickness bites in more and flies more easily. It's also good for flat hitting, and especially at 2.0mm I felt like I could get sharp flat hits in.
No complaints when it comes to blocking or countering.
If you want to stabilize your overall short game, go with 2.0mm; if you want to seize the initiative with things like chiquita, I'd go with max thickness.
The downside is that it doesn't last long, and the moment it's worn out it basically turns to junk, so be careful.
Recommended for people using a soft blade.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

This was my first blade when I started playing table tennis.
Above all, the control is great. Everything from speed drives to stops lands on the table reliably.
Once you get to around intermediate level though, the performance does start to feel lacking. It ends up feeling like the speed just isn't enough.
This is just personal preference, but I wasn't a huge fan of the feel on contact (that "donk, donk" resonance in the hand).
Even so, it's a blade I can recommend to beginners. If you're a beginner unsure which blade to pick, please give this one a look.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Soft

I'm using this rubber on both my forehand and backhand, and if I had to describe it in one word, it's an "all-rounder."
It handles topspin drives easily, and it's just as solid for hitting, blocking, countering, and the short game.
The power drive and block in particular felt like they were on another level.
The topspin drive really packs some power. I'd recommend it for players whose style is more about blowing past the opponent in one shot than forcing mistakes. If you're trying it for the first time, I'd recommend starting on the backhand. Your backhand-to-backhand stability might get a lot better!

I used it on my backhand side.
Its number one feature is definitely how easy it is to generate speed!
Fast backhand-to-backhand rallies are easy too — the sheet has a decent amount of grip, so spin is easy to put on the ball, which makes it easy to mix up pace mid-rally.
I also found chiquita quite easy to do.
Also, with this rubber, swing power and how far the ball travels scale together nicely, so backhand drives and backhand counters from away from the table land in more often, which feels great! (Though the ball might end up a bit light?)
It's not too heavy either, so it's a rubber I can recommend to everyone.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

I borrowed this from a friend who had it on his chopping blade.
My first impression of this rubber was "stability + power."If you really brush the ball on your topspin drive, you get a nice arcing shot, though it's not that fast. Still, the ball comes out heavy, on par with tension rubbers.
It also has a ball-holding quality that other tension rubbers don't have, which gave me confidence even in long rallies.
On top of that, this rubber's power tends to scale directly with how hard you hit it, so if you've got the strength, counters from away from the table are easy too.
Forehand chops were very easy to control and felt great.
As for downsides, I felt it wears out a bit faster than rubbers in the same price range (my buddy mentioned this too), and it's a little on the hard side.
Ideally you might want to move up to a slightly pricier rubber (maybe that's why there aren't many reviews of this one?), but if stability is your priority, I think this is worth having as an option.
