Since it's all-wood, it has some flex, and even on connecting shots it still gives you a solid arc. True to its name, the speed is incredible.

It's vertical pips, but if you can get the ball to grip, you can chiquita with it. It's a rubber known for its blocking, and since it doesn't bounce too much, you almost never miss long.

Because the pips are soft, the ball stays on the rubber longer before releasing. Chops come out with heavy spin, and chop-blocks stop the ball well too.

It's quite hard. If you hit it with a solid stroke, you get monster drives flying off. It's probably not very suited for elementary and middle schoolers, who tend to have relatively weak impact and slower swing speeds.

The ball sinks into the sponge well, so it's easy to lift underspin. The one drawback though is that the rubber is on the heavy side.
