It's fast and bounces nicely, so power drives and flat, straight drives are easy to hit, and the control is really good too.

This is a comparison with Tenergy 05 Hard and Dignics 05.
Compared to 05 Hard, the spin is a bit weaker, but I felt I could hit drives that are more linear and faster.
As for the feel, 05 Hard felt like the ball sinks in less, and I felt the VII Tour was better suited to fast, repeated hitting.
05 Hard and the VII Tour are about the same weight and quite similar overall — I think 05 Hard's strength is spin, while the VII Tour's strength is speed.
Next, the comparison with Dignics.
Compared to Dignics, I think the VII Tour is weaker in both speed and spin.
The key point is the feel: Dignics is harder to handle and you need to learn how to hit with it specifically, whereas the VII Tour is a true spin-type tension rubber — if you can handle a hard spin-type tension rubber or a tacky rubber, you should be able to handle this fine.
It's also a rubber that combines outstanding speed and spin even among spin-type tension rubbers.
It's cheaper than Tenergy 05 or 05 Hard, and in terms of positioning, I felt you could call it something like a Tenergy 80 Hard(?).

Countering and chiquitas both feel easy to do (for me at least)
It's rated 55.0 in hardness, but I don't feel like it's that hard!

I use this on my backhand. My impression is that it's a solidly hard German-style spin tension rubber. The hardness is rated 55 degrees, but it doesn't feel as hard as that when you touch it (though maybe my sense of hardness is off...).
As expected, the ball behaves honestly, and I can tell that if you're not good at applying German-style tension technique, this will just be a rubber you can't use well at all. But if you can apply that technique, while you won't out-power it, I think you can get spin close to what Dignics 05 gives. That said, I don't think it really suits hardcore power hitters. The reason is that if you use a flicking-type motion when lifting backspin, the ball won't even go in, so if you can control that properly and hit a good shot, I think you can hit even stronger balls. Also, a friend told me during practice that the spin is so strong it tends to overshoot, but if you block it properly, the ball behaves honestly and goes in without doing anything extra — though when countering, while it's honest, returning the spin takes quite a bit of skill. It's for advanced players, but it might also be worth recommending to intermediate players who happen to have better technique than most.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

I'm writing this because my favorite Brazilian player, Hugo Calderano, uses this rubber.
I used to use the Omega 7 Asia before switching over to the Tour version.
I'm tall with long reach, and while the Omega Asia rubber has good power, the ball went out a lot.
With the Omega 7 Tour, there are fewer overshoots, and the touch for making the ball stronger or softer was good.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Simply put, the sponge on this rubber is 55 degrees, but maybe because the topsheet is thin, it feels hard at first — though it's not that hard to handle overall. Just like the product description says, it overwhelms in speed, spin, and everything else. Loop drives all sink in nicely. The spin is way beyond what your swing would suggest — so much that it blows opponents away and surprises them, even after they've seen it once. Power drives go through untouched in matches. The speed is insane. For the short game, it's stable and easy to use — being hard, it doesn't lose out to any ordinary spin, and countering especially has monstrous speed and power.
That said, timing your touch on counters is quite difficult. As for durability, the topsheet seems to wear down a bit fast. (Producing the shots described above does require a certain level of skill.)All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

For an Omega, this is really hard to use — "for me" at least
I mostly hit loop drives, but the spin is weak and it's easy for opponents to counter
Speed drives don't come out fast at all either
It feels like a rubber where only the control really stands out
I used this in my third year of playing, and it's a rubber I couldn't score a single point with in matches
