First, about the price...
The Nittaku-branded one is way too expensive.
If you get the DHS-branded version, you can find it on a certain resale app for around 7,500 yen. I entered the serial number on DHS's website and confirmed it was genuine, so you can buy with peace of mind.
Sorry for the long preamble — here's the actual review.
My comparison point is the Neo Provincial Hurricane 3 blue sponge.
Forehand hitting: Not that different, honestly. When you put more force in, the Neo version flies a bit more.
Drives: The Neo version is faster on drives. Since loops don't fly as much with this one, I found it easier to control. If you're someone who often overshoots on hard drives with the Neo version, this one might suit you better.
Short game: This one is slightly easier, though honestly only slightly.
Serves: The maximum spin ceiling is high, but sometimes you can't fully impart it. I think that improves with practice, though.
Overall, this is a high-potential rubber.
That said, if you can't consistently put spin on every single ball, you'd be better off with a tension rubber.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Just like the title says.
It flips the spin on its own, so it's not suited to adding your own variation.
That said, its knuckle ability is top notch — just dropping a block on a forehand drive is enough to make it bite back on the table. You don't need any real chopping feel for it.
The quality of your chop depends a lot on the quality of the opponent's drive.
I think knuckle drives and shallow loops are hard to chop.
Give up on pushing, honestly lol. If you try to add spin on a push,
it floats up and gets smashed, game over.
I'd recommend it to beginner-to-intermediate players. I don't think there's much reason for someone who already has a feel for chopping versus not chopping to bother using this.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

As I said in the title, this racket has great overall balance.
It's easy to put spin on, and a strong impact can produce fast shots too.
Light touches feel close to wood. Pushes and stops hold their position properly.
For topspin drives, the good grip on the ball means you'll almost never dump it into the net even against backspin.
I'd basically recommend pairing it with a harder tension rubber, but a thick coat of tacky rubber can work too.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

This review is for the Long 5X, not the regular Long 5.
The bare blade is 88g, and with rubbers attached it comes to 184g. I'm comparing it against an Inner Force Layer ALC with the same rubbers.
Forehand hitting: Even at this stage the ball already goes deeper than with the Layer ALC, yet the hitting feel is actually softer than the Layer ALC.
Drive: It's soft and holds the ball well, so both loops and hard drives are easy to execute. In particular, a one-shot kill drive has more power than on the Layer ALC — really satisfying.
Short game: About as easy as the Layer ALC. Stops, pushes — there wasn't any particular technique that felt hard to do.
Overall: This is a god blade. The performance justifies the high price. It pairs excellently with tacky rubber.
If you're a Ma Long fan, I'd definitely recommend giving this a try.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

Bought used through a flea-market app.
When it comes to defensive technique, I think the performance is beyond complaint. Chops bite sharply, it's easy to add variation like gyro-spin chops or sidespin pushes, and you can even produce chops that dip down into the opponent's court. Blocks also stop the ball firmly, so
I'd highly recommend this to defensive-style players.
For attacking techniques like topspin drives and smashes, if you want more speed I'd recommend pairing it with a tension rubber. With this blade, I think you can play consistently even with a tension rubber on it.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Soft
