    I bought this to work on a compact swing and get a feel for meeting the ball cleanly.
    My first impression was how soft the pips are - they bend over so much I thought it was somewhere between long pips and short pips. Thanks to that, the transition from a topspin drive into the 5th-ball shot is smooth. I feel like this rubber performs at its best when you swing with just the minimum motion needed.

    If you've got a certain level of skill, you can definitely hit a ball that feels like a level up. One thing to watch out for is that the rubber's performance is so intense it can outpace your own ability.

    High performance, but high price. Shorter lifespan too.

    A very soft feel on contact that still sends the ball flying. It's quite a peaky blade, but as long as you don't get the rubber pairing wrong, it's a really interesting one to play with. Unrelated to play, but it also has a nice hinoki scent.

    A high-performance rubber with great value for money. It bounces more than you'd expect, and it's soft. I feel like it suits a plywood blade better than a special-material one.

    Switched over from FX-S. This one feels softer. You can hit as if wrapping the ball, so it pairs well with a 7-ply blade. It's soft, but it's excellent in that you can still put solid spin on everything from serves to loop drives.
