  True to having "spin" in its name, the grip on the ball for chiquitas and short topspin drives is exceptionally good. It's described as soft, but my impression is that it's actually on the slightly harder side.

  スピンの名を冠しているだけあって、チキータやショートドライブの引っ掛かりが絶妙に良い。柔らかいとあるが、やや硬いくらいの印象。

  FORTINO PERFORMANCE

  

  Setting aside what exactly Dyneema is as a material - what really stands out is that even hitting near the edge of the blade, the ball comes out feeling like you hit it dead center. I assumed a 7-ply blade would be "heavy and fly too much," but the weight is no different from a 5-ply, it grabs the ball firmly, gives a nice arc, and smashes land cleanly.

  ダイニーマがどういった素材なのかはさておき。特筆したいのは、ラケットの端でも、しっかり真ん中で打ったような球が打てる。7枚合板は「重いし飛ぶし」と思っていたのですが、重さは5枚と変わらず、しっかりボールを掴んで、良い弧線、スマッシュが決まります。

  QUANTUMX PRO SOFT

  

  It has just the right softness for backhand topspin drives.
  It grips the ball firmly and lands on the table at a good angle.

  バックドライブにちょうど良いソフト感です。
  しっかり球を掴んで、良い角度でコートに収まります。

  Timo Boll ALC

  

  Unless you have quite a lot of skill, you can't control it. You end up in what people call "being used by the blade" or "hitting purely off the rubber's performance."

  That said, since Boll himself actually uses it, I think it's fair to say the quality is top-tier.
  It could also be fun to deliberately try pairing it with a quirky rubber.

  かなりの技量がないとコントロールできない。所謂、「ラケットに使われる」「ラバーの性能だけで打ってる」状態になります。

  とはいえ、ボル選手本人が使っているので、品質は最高峰と言っていいでしょう。
  あえて、癖のあるラバーを貼ってみるのも、面白いと思います。

  HURRICANE 2 PRO

  

  Paired it with a rock-hard inner blade. You get this ringing metallic sound and a nice, tight ball trajectory. The timing of the ball leaving the rubber is spot on, so meet-shots and smashes have plenty of speed. And best of all, brushed topspin drives land right where you want them.

  カチカチのインナーと組み合わせ。鳴り響く金属音と、収まりのいい球筋。絶妙球離れで、ミート打ち、スマッシュのスピードも申し分ない。そして何より擦ったドライブがいいところに決まる。
