It probably also depends on the rubber you pair it with, but I assumed that being a chopper's blade, it would be hard to attack with. However, it's easier to attack with than I expected. I was originally a drive-oriented player, and I found it just right - not too much bounce, not too little. As for chopping, with tacky rubber you can get good spin, but it has a bit of a sticky, clingy feel, so personally I wouldn't recommend that combination. If you put on an attacking VICTAS rubber like I did, I think it becomes easier to play an all-around style.

The good things about G1:
First, it's easy to put spin on the ball.
Second, if you hit with strong impact, it tends to produce weird, hard-to-read bounces that opponents struggle with.
The bad things about G1:
First, unless you focus on impact, you get flat, spinless balls.
