    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
Highly rated as having equivalent performance to Viscaria and Timobor ALC with superior design and cost performance. The balance of high speed and spin characteristic of the outer ALC material receives overwhelming support from attacking players with solid fundamentals.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Same performance as Viscaria at lower price
    • High speed and stability of outer ALC
    • Excellent backhand drive power
    • Requires practice and skill for beginners
    • Excellent compatibility with hard rubbers like Dignics
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveIt has a ball-gripping shock absorption sensation and provides good spin despite strong elasticity. It makes powerful and speedy play easy from the front court, allowing you to hit backhand shots like Lin Gaoyuan.
▽ CriticalThe hard blade makes it difficult to land drives with hard rubbers like Dignics 80, requiring careful rubber selection. It requires adjustment for first-time carbon users and is not recommended for beginners.

      Player reviews

It feels similar to the Viscaria.
Dignics 09C, Dignics 05, or Tenergy 05 pair well with it as rubbers.
      Definitely a good blade.

ryoutanz 18 (Experience: 2〜3 years) Great match with soft German rubber!!

      Player reviews

      It bounces like crazy.
I'm using Dignics 80 on my forehand, but there's just no way my drives are landing. The blade is very hard.
So until I buy my next rubber, I'm using DNA rubber on my forehand instead.
So if you admire Lin Gaoyuan and think
      "Oh, it's cheap!!"
and buy it on a whim, I think you might end up a little disappointed.
That said, the spin is outstanding!!
If you pair it with a soft German rubber or something in the Fastarc line, you can get solid drives in and score points.
I think it's better to think it through carefully before you buy.

I ’m Chiquitaman from table tennis. Huh?

      Player reviews

Forehand hitting was pretty good, but when I hit drives, the trajectory comes out flat and straight. The feel was nice though.
I'd recommend this to advanced players with a solid physical foundation.

I LOVE STIGA (Experience: 4〜5 years) Nothing lost in feel!

      Player reviews

I also have the Timo Boll ALC (FL), and the feel and grip sensation are pretty much the same.
The grip design looks cool, so I'd recommend this one over the Viscaria or Zhang Jike ALC.
The AN grip is nice too, but personally I feel the FL fits my hand better.
Since it's made of outer material, opinions will vary, but the speed & control performance is solid, so it's a blade you won't regret buying.

airi yano (Experience: 2〜3 years) Amazing! Just too amazing!!

      Player reviews

I switched to this blade from my old SK7α.
First off, this blade is easier to get spin on than my old one. That said, the feel was better on the SK7α.
When I first started using this blade I wasn't quite used to it, but once I got the hang of it, it became a really reliable partner.
I felt like it's a tough blade to start with if it's your first special-material blade.
Anyway, this is an amazing blade. I'd recommend it to people who want to step up their game or who feel like their current blade isn't quite enough.

This was my first carbon blade, so at first I wasn't quite used to it. But once I got used to it, it bounces well and it's easier to get spin on than my previous SK7α — I thought it was a really good blade.
That said, I don't think I'd recommend it to people trying a special-material blade for the first time.

Metathra (Experience: 6〜10 years) Different from other outer ALCs?

      Player reviews

I was curious since it's a new release, so I bought it.
Compared to other outer ALC blades, it doesn't bounce as much and the feel wasn't great... maybe I got a bad unit?
Other outer ALC blades tend to snap the ball off crisply, but the Lin Gaoyuan felt like it absorbed the ball a bit and didn't fly as much.
That said, compared to other outer ALC blades, it lets you get spin on more consistently.

If you're using an outer ALC and want a bit more stability, or feel like your current one flies too much, I think this one is perfect for you!
