Apple goro (Experience: 11〜20 years) A bit heavy... but the best

      Player reviews

This is the Gauzy SL, a 7-ply blade, but a lot of the individual units run heavy.
Personally, rather than hunting around for a lighter, more swingable unit, I think this is best suited for players who want to hit solid, heavy drives at 90g or more.
As for performance, the Gauzy SL is really high-end.
I'd recommend it for players who want that wood-blade feel while still flying, and for aggressive players who put full spin on drives with inverted rubber on both sides. I think it's tough for beginners - more of an intermediate-and-up racket.
Rather than the powerful, springy feel of a typical 7-ply, it feels more like a 5-ply given extra rigidity and cranked up to super high performance.
The price is 16,000 yen plus tax at MSRP, but once you pick it up and actually hit with it, I think it's worth it.

Wooden favorite tool Numa (Experience: 11〜20 years) God-tier racket

      Player reviews

It's heavy, so handling it might require a bit of skill and swing speed. (Depending on your rubber setup, it could end up super heavy.)
But everything — spin, speed, all of it — comes together at a high level. This is without a doubt a godly blade.

hide chapin (Experience: 11〜20 years) Godly combo!

      Player reviews

With special-material blades, there are times the ball flies too much, but after switching to the Gauzy, the ball only travels as much as I actually swing, and it stops well in the short game too.
Blocks also hold the ball well and are easy to control, and countering just feels great, no matter what!

pink lemonade (Experience: 11〜20 years) Not as stiff as expected

      Player reviews

I've used special-material blades for a long time, and personally this one felt soft.
The balance point is toward the grip, so it doesn't feel all that heavy.
I think it bounces more than Tamas's inner-type blades.
I paired it with Rasanter R48 UM on the backhand and used an antibacterial ball - the match-up was fantastic (very energy-efficient).
Loops off a push that's jammed in close also come up easily, and honestly everything about it felt effortless.

In my opinion, it puts out crazy speed and spin!
Control might be a bit tricky, though.
