With SZLC, the ply thickness is supposed to only increase by 0.1mm, so why has it increased by 0.2mm? & Also, in photos the core wood looked like it was just paulownia, which bothered me, so I went to a shop to check, and I found out what had changed.

Top ply thickness
0.05mm thicker (0.1mm total for top and bottom combined)SZLC is 0.1mm thicker than other materials
So that's why it ended up 0.2mm thicker than the Tomokazu Harimoto Innerforce ALC.
Because the top ply is thicker and the core is paulownia, the feel doesn't get too hard, and it still keeps good ball-holding.
Compared to the Innerforce ZLC, when you put power into it, it bounces really well while holding the ball, and on the short game the bounce is kept down just like other inner-type blades, so stops and cutting pushes are very easy to do.
Blocking is similarly easy, whether holding it back or punching it, and I could control and carry even nasty, powerful drives.
For serves, it's easier to add more spin than with the Innerforce ZLC — like with an outer ZLC, it makes that sharp drive-like sound even on a short serve, but with a little more swing it becomes a fast, long serve, which made things a lot easier.
It's a very well-balanced blade with no bias either way.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

Just like the title says, this is a well-balanced blade.
The grip is an AN shape, but the AN grips in the Harimoto series feel a bit flat.
Since I have a habit of hitting somewhat flat, I was looking for something over 6mm thick that also doesn't flex too much. Among blades over 6mm thick, this one has a decent amount of ball-holding.
I put Dignics 09c on the backhand, but the ball-holding is so good that I kept overshooting - though if you create a bit of an angle and control how hard you make contact, you can easily land even a no-spin ball on the table.
Also, I felt that the Harimoto ZLC has a stronger ZLC feel and releases the ball faster. The Super ZLC is easier to control.
It seems like it would also match well with tacky rubber, but also with harder tension rubbers - overall a very well-balanced blade.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

This was my first time trying it out and it flew so much that it was hard to control, but it was fun, so I was excited the first time I used it. I think it's really good.

At first I had a lot of overshoot misses and it took a while to get used to it. I'm the type who attacks from mid-distance, and since it bounces nicely it's very easy to use, so it's become one of my favorites.

When you're relaxed, like during forehand practice hitting, I think this is a top-notch blade — good ball-holding, good control, and good bounce.
However, in match situations where you tend to tense up, the bounce is so good that you'll probably get a lot of overshoot misses.
In fact, what stuck with me was that when doing forehand drives, I ended up holding the blade horizontally and grazing the ball.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

I had used the Jun Mizutani SZLC before, and this time I bought this one because it's an inner-type blade.
I was worried it might fly too much, but it turned out to be an incredibly easy blade to handle.
The short game and blocks land properly on the table, but when attacking, you can hit very fast shots, just like you'd expect from an SZLC.
It's expensive, so it's hard to just try out on a whim, but it's worth more than the price.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft
