I started out with a 5-ply blade, and while also using other 7-ply blades, I picked up a Clipper Wood as well.
Compared to other 7-ply blades, this one has even more destructive power. That said, I don't find it hard to handle — it feels just right.
It's a wood blade, but it's got power too, so I think it suits a wide range of playing styles. Until I make the jump to carbon, this looks like it'll be my main blade.
By the way, it weighed in at 91g, but maybe because the balance is good, I don't feel like it's hard to swing.

It's easy to control, and despite people saying it's heavy, it's not actually that heavy. It also pairs pretty well with pips, and it's good together with the well-balanced Fastarc C1.

First and foremost, it's heavy! If you don't adjust with your rubber choice, you can't swing all the way through. If you try to put a regular tension rubber on the forehand, it'll go long. But it delivers real power, so that's great. It might not be usable unless you've got the strength to properly control the ball.

Using the ST handle.
It's on the thick side and not too slippery, so it's easy to grip.
I've got thick tension rubber on both sides so there's some weight to it, but it flies with a really pleasant feel.
It's a genuinely high-performance blade where wood-like manageability coexists with a bounce that doesn't feel like wood at all.

What stands out most is the softness of the feel. The bounce is about average for a 7-ply, but the stiffness is nearly on par with a 5-ply, making it quite easy to use. The blade is on the thick side, so the only real drawback is that the spin performance falls a bit short — otherwise it's a blade I'd recommend to just about anyone. Definitely give it a try as your first 7-ply!
