      The sound on impact is dull, and the feel really jars your hand.
      It bounces a lot, and if you put a soft rubber on it
      you can learn the feeling of letting the ball sink into the sponge.
      Since it bounces so much, I think it also suits hard rubbers.

      I think this is a blade that flies well for an all-wood build.
      The fact that it gets a bit heavy once you put tension rubber on it, and that the feel on impact really jars your hand, are probably the points that will split people's opinions - but if it clicks with you, I think it's a really easy piece of equipment to use.
