NO.1 table tennis review site

The unit I got weighed 90g. With Q5 max-thickness rubber on both sides, it came to 187g.
Personally the weight wasn't an issue for me.
The feel was pretty good!

That said, I felt like the power dropped off a bit when attacking from away from the table.

Feel: doesn't feel like you're hitting the sweet spot, kind of mushy and dull

Power: basically none. A 7-ply all-wood blade? What is this
You can only hit weak, light shots

Control: it doesn't fly, so the ball stays on the table

Weight: it does have a handle-heavy balance, that much is true, you don't feel much weight overall

Spin: doesn't grab much spin, makes for a ball that's easy for the opponent to hit

Topspin drive: easy to do, but it turns into a low-spin, low-power ball that gets blocked easily

Comparison with the Acoustic
As expected given the price difference, the Acoustic wins. Even as a 5-ply, the Acoustic flies and has way more power
The Fortius struggles for power even mid-distance, let alone away from the table. Maybe it's for beginners or older women players?
I really don't see it as suited for intermediate or advanced players.

It was a waste putting Fastarc G1 rubber on this
I had Tackifire Drive on the backhand, so the backhand side is a lost cause anyway, Tackifire Drive is terrible

I see good reviews of the Fortius out there, but are those from the manufacturer or something??

Bottom line: I never want to hit with this again

In a word, this is a more manageable version of the Fortius FT.
Compared to the original Fortius FT, bounce and power are toned down a bit, but the downsides of the original - the weight and the tip-heavy balance - have been improved, so it swings through easily and you won't lose swing speed.
In exchange for being easier to handle, it's lost a bit of its edge in power on hard shots and in topspin rallies.
If you can already swing the Fortius FT around without any problem, I can't really recommend this one.
But if you think the Fortius FT is a great blade except that the weight is a dealbreaker for you, this is definitely one to pick up.

This is my impression of a 93g unit.
Right from forehand and backhand hitting, there's a sense that the ball pops upward.
It feels somewhere between an SK7 and a Korbel.

For topspin drives against backspin, maybe because I have a habit of making thick contact, my usual stroke didn't quite click - it felt like the ball really travels when you swing in a way that digs into the sponge rather than down to the wood.

Also, the balance point is a bit toward the tip. The ball travels better and you get that metallic sound when you make contact toward the tip rather than the center of the blade.

Personally, what I liked was that my backhand drive was noticeably more stable than with the SK7 - that was actually the main reason I bought this blade in the first place.

As for the weight, it is genuinely heavy, but the grip has been shaved down so you can hold it deeper, which also helps you swing through more easily.
Being an "re" version probably also helps with that ease of swinging through.

Personally, I feel more weight from a straight-grip SK7 with spin-oriented tension rubber on both sides.

I'd say the target user is someone using a heavy, snappy 7-ply blade who wants a bit more ball-holding feel, but finds a snappy 5-ply blade a little lacking.

My honest impressions:
- Because of the weight, the solid, core-y feel on contact is very satisfying
- The trajectory of the backhand drive is stable and ideal
