Other reviews only judge this blade on pure performance, but since this is meant for beginners, I feel that's a bit harsh.
Honestly, this blade is excellent. I think everything you learn as a beginner is easy to pick up with it.
Mizutani recommends Rozena for it, but I'd slightly disagree. If you want to grip the ball well, I'd push for Factive instead.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Soft

My unit weighed 83.2g. At 176g with rubber on, it's light and easy to swing.
There was a sense of the ball rising, but overall it plays like a typical 5-ply wood blade.
The feedback in the hand is pretty strong — among other 5-ply blades, STIGA's Infinity feels similar.
I also compared it to Butterfly's Korbel, and this one felt harder, while the Korbel felt softer and held the ball better.
If you can already hit drives and want consistency, I'd go with the Korbel; if you're a beginner still working up to hitting drives, this one's lightness makes it the better pick.
I don't think players who can already hit reasonably well need to choose this blade — you'd be better off going with a 7-ply wood or special-material blade.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

If you really think of this as a beginner's blade, it'll take you time to master it. This blade's strengths only really show once you're holding it correctly. It's also heavier than other makers' beginner blades, so it won't lose out on ball power.
If you're an all-wood blade user, this can be used all the way up to advanced level. It's high-performance enough that it's hard to really call it just a beginner blade.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard
