Switched from the All Evolution, using short pips on the backhand
Honestly, this is way too goodFor the forehand, honestly I think any Butterfly rubber works with this except Dignics
It's an outer blade but the trajectory feels more like an inner
Though if you swing hard, the outer-blade character does show up
That said, I didn't get that much power out of it
If you're winning points with spin, or trying a special-material blade for the first time, this could work for youThe backhand suits unusual rubbers too
But honestly, I think inverted rubber suits it better, lolCompared to the Timo, this one really flies more
That one's a 3-ply plus special material blade, after allPlaying styles I'd recommend it for:
1. Winning with spin
2. Putting an unusual rubber on the backhand and winning that way
or something like thatFor rubber setups I'd recommend:

I think this blade leans toward a pure wood feel.
Even so, mishits have become a lot less common.
That's probably thanks to the material sandwiched inside the blade.
For beginner to intermediate players, this should keep you happy for several years.

Mine was 82g in AN.
The handle is thick enough that even I, with big hands, can grip it firmly.
Honestly I'm not great with outer-ply blades, so I paired it with a rubber that holds the ball well, and it felt like a really good match.
It's easy to put spin on, and hitting it flat with a meaty stroke sends the ball flying nicely. That said, it doesn't fly too far — it stays stable and consistent.

My previous blade was the Soten, but due to a lack of finishing power and it breaking, I moved on to this one. I use tacky rubber on both sides, and since I prefer a quicker ball release, I went with an outer-ply blade. My finishing power went up and I gained more ways to attack.

Mint Ver.2 (Experience: ４〜５ years) Re-review

As mentioned in the title, this is a re-review.
This time I put max-thickness Glayzer and Rozena on each side.To cut to the conclusion, this setup made it easy to play the way I ideally want to.
Spin is easy to generate and speed comes easily too. It pairs especially well with Rozena — falling back is tough, but the short game and rallies close to the table were really easy to pull off.
It also pairs well with Glayzer, though not quite as well as Rozena, and it let me do mid-distance play too, which Rozena couldn't really manage.It matches most tension rubbers, but Dignics and strong tacky rubbers didn't work out well.
This is great equipment for stepping up from beginner to intermediate level.

LOVERUBBER (Experience: １１〜２０ years) Cheap but exceptionally good blade

It was cheap and the grip design was nice, so it was basically an impulse buy, but it's turned out to be an outstandingly well-balanced blade. On hard hits it feels like a 7-ply blade with a wide sweet spot, while for the short game it's exquisite, like a 5-ply blade with flex and a soft hitting feel. It sits somewhere between inner and outer carbon, yet you don't get that typical carbon hardness. In normal use it has more bounce than an inner ALC blade, but when you're pushed back from the table, the inner ALC might actually give more sense of speed. Another big strength is that the blade is light on average, which makes it easy to handle and easy to generate spin with. Even though it's light, it has enough thickness that blocking is easy too. With Butterfly's fiber-composite blades I usually find it hard to feel much difference from pure wood, but maybe because the fiber is placed on the outer layer here, this blade lets you clearly feel the difference, and in a good way. This is a blade I'd recommend, and one I hope becomes a long-selling classic. It really takes the best of both wood and composite-material blades.

It's cheap~ (Experience: ４〜５ years) Easy to use

This is my first outer special-material blade, and it's a perfect stepping stone - it doesn't fly too much, just a bit more than pure wood. If you put more into the impact, you get powerful shots, the vibration when the ball meets the blade feels just right, and since it holds the ball well, you get a satisfying sense of spin. I'm using Dignics on both sides, and even though it's labeled CAF, it's easy to control, and stops and short-game shots are easy to do. Lifting backspin balls also flies well, which makes it easy to handle. Shots that used to sail through the air now feel like they have a wider hitting surface, so mishits have gone down. When countering, it's solid enough to not get overpowered by the opponent's shot. Players who rely on sheer power might find it a bit lacking, but for players who win with the short game and spin, I felt this was the best blade.
