I bought the newly released 2023 spring/summer Jun Mizutani Major with high expectations, but it really just feels like an entry-level blade.

I got this from a friend, and the first thing that stood out was how well-balanced it feels.
Speed doesn't come out easily, but the spin and control felt strong.
I think it suits people getting their first racket, or anyone who wants to focus on control.

I completely lost control on my forehand with an ALC racket, and it suddenly occurred to me that this racket, which I'd kept around for practice/lending out, was really easy to use, so I moved my rubber over to it. On top of the control, maybe because of the flex, the ball comes out with a lot more carry now. Of the three I have, the one with Rozena on it felt a bit slower and softer, but the one with Fastarc G1 has a crisp feel and is really nice.

Even though it's meant for attacking play, it gives feedback in your hand almost like a chopper's blade. It prioritizes an easy-to-read feel, control, and ease of generating spin, and when it comes to bounce, it nails exactly the point of “if you build proper technique using your whole body and then just upgrade your rubber, that's plenty for 99% of people out there.”
Turning this exquisite balance — one that isn't exactly great news for manufacturers — into an actual product is only possible because of Jun Mizutani's brand, and I think it really shows his intelligence and his sincerity toward table tennis fans everywhere.
This is probably what people mean when they talk about a truly “amazing racket.”

I tried this racket because it was co-designed by Mizutani. My first impression was that it's easy to use. The bounce is just right, and as a beginner I found it very easy to handle. I decided to put on Rozena, the rubber officially recommended by Butterfly as Mizutani's main choice, and I felt right away that it was a great match. It produces a nice solid arc, and spin on serves was really strong too. On hard shots like drives, I noticed it went long a bit too often. But when I focused more on brushing the ball, it landed on the table just fine. The price is nice too, so I think this is a great racket to recommend to beginners. The feel is really good as well, so please give it a try! Sorry for the long post.

With the return of the andro Q blade after 7 years, the Jun Mizutani Major was going to help pilot Allwood's boat with a Hurricane National Blue Sponge blade, but this boat was delayed until 2013. The Jun Mizutani Major ended up being piloted with the Hurricane National Blue Sponge blade. Control, speed, spin, lure bias. It's strange that you all don't know this.

Total weight including rubber: 167g.A grade-schooler in our club bought this as their first personal blade.
Since it was the first Jun Mizutani Major in the club, all the members had fun trying it out and giving their opinions.
Here's a summary of everyone's thoughts.- Can do anything, and everything goes in
- Rozena is better than Fly At Spin
- It's light
- The speed when hitting hard is a bit lacking
- The grip is thin and easy to hold
- Cheap!
I generally agree with all of these.Opinions were split on the feel.
Some liked how it resonates in the hand, others wished it resonated less.
You can safely think of it as a blade with a fairly strong hand-shock feel.
I personally like harder blades, so I lean toward the latter opinion, but that's probably just a matter of preference.The kid using it this time has more than a year of experience, so Rozena was fine, but
for someone who's truly just starting out, a rubber that suppresses the bounce one more notch might be more suitable. (just a guess)Up until now a lot of people picked the SWAT, SWAT 5-ply, or Korbel as a first blade, but
