I bought this back in 8th grade, and when I tried it, the ball just flies off it. So it might be a bit hard to control? Well, I guess it'd be a good match for smash-type players.

I switched over from the Ma Lin Extra Offensive.
The Ma Lin was pretty good too, but I was struggling because I just couldn't get enough drive speed out of it. The Chinese ULC has a really good bounce, so I'm satisfied on that front.
That said, the blade surface just looks smaller to me somehow. When I lay it on top of the Ma Lin there's almost no difference in size though... but pushing and stopping got easier.
The blade is light so it's easy to swing for topspin drives. I had the shop weigh all of them and picked the lightest one at 76g
