This is the one I'd recommend if you're just starting out. It has a bit of speed, but above all it's easy to control. That said, after using it for about a year, it can crack (or get brittle) and start to feel lacking.

I've been using it ever since I joined my school's team — it was good at first, but now it feels a bit lacking... The control is good. The speed is neither slow nor fast. The spin is so-so.

It's well balanced, but if I'm being harsh, it doesn't really stand out in any way. The control is good and it works well with inverted, short pips, and long pips, so I'd recommend it to beginners.

This was the first blade I bought, and the control was really good — I didn't have many overshoot misses.
The topspin drive is stable too, so it's a blade that can do pretty much anything.

The control is amazing. Hurricane rubber doesn't run wild on this blade.
It also flexes, so you get plenty of spin too.
It's cheap, so I think it's worth trying. A penhold version is available too.
It's also pretty light, both the shakehand and penhold versions.
I think the value for money is outstanding too.
It's great for beginners, but it's also a blade that suits advanced players who like to overpower opponents with spin.

Everything about it is average. But it does have one distinctive feature.
The blade is relatively thin. Because of that,
control is very good and you can get a decent amount of spin too.
It's also cheap, so I'd recommend it as a backup blade.
It says it's suitable for intermediate players too, so it should be usable enough, I'd think.
