Several top players prefer the pure wooden blade construction, appreciating the special feel of pure wood.

EXTRA SPECIAL is a 7-ply construction suitable for aggressive close-to-the-table players. In EXTRA SPECIAL Yasaka’s experienced wood specialists combine harder inner veneers with a slightly softer middle veneer to get the right power without vibration.

      Player reviews

The first impression I made was heavy. It rotates well and speeds up, but it is heavy. I don't think I can master it without some strength.
Also, I may be not good at this, but it took time to get the bench processing done. However, once you get used to it, it's a very good racket, so I'll continue to use it. I think it suits aggressive players such as drivemen and front-end haste.

Smile (Experience:11〜20 years) Individual differences are severe

      Player reviews

I borrowed it from a friend and hit it, but I got a pretty good impression, so I bought it.

However, when I try to use it as my racket, it does not feel like when I borrowed it. The reason is that the one I borrowed was 95g and I bought 88g.

There is, but weight is still important. I'm a tool swamp, but I haven't changed it at all since I fixed it.

Overwhelming beginner's mass (Experience:Less than a year) Even beginners can control it well!

      Player reviews

I'm still a beginner, but I thought this racket was very controllable. It speeds up and is easy to rotate.
One thing I felt was 7 plywood, so I felt a little heavier when compared to other rackets. However, it is very easy to use, so I will continue to use it habitually.
(Because I am a beginner, I thought it would be easier to use it in combination with easy-to-control rubber such as Rygan and Mark V)
(By the way, the racket price is a club activity discount price)

Howling Driveman (Experience:11〜20 years) That feeling

      Player reviews

I couldn't write it, so one more point. The combination of this Ma Lin extra special and a stiff tension rubber resembled the feeling of combining a carbon racket with tenergy. Since the center material of Marieki Special is soft, it feels like holding a ball with a racket, and even with a hard rubber, it is soft and easy to bite and rotate. Moreover, although it is soft, you can fly it firmly with a racket. I felt that there was an auto feeling. Illusion?
Tenergy bites into the carbon racket with a rubber and flies with the racket, so it may be different if you say different, but both have a ball power, and if you hit it, it will return to the opponent with a heavy ball quality. The Marieki Special was extremely easy to do on the table. I will change the main racket after a long time. I'm addicted to it. The ball quality is really heavy. I recommend it.

Howling Driveman (Experience:11〜20 years) Great as reputation

      Player reviews

Since resuming table tennis, I have been using Liberta Synergy Plus, Timo Boll ALC, Inner ALC, ZLC, Liberta Synergy, Arnade Inner, Zevalate, Firefall Series, Lean Force, Swat, Swat Power. I think it's an arm, but when I hit it hard or hit it strangely, there were many overshoots and the hit ball was too light. I tried Ma Lin Extra Special, which I thought was heavy and avoided. It's a little heavy, but the hit ball was heavier than any of the rackets I've used so far. The shot feeling is soft.
Also, the number of mistakes has decreased dramatically. I used only carbon, but since it takes more rotation than the inner carbon racket, the hit ball can be settled on the table considerably. I fell in love with wood. The rotation has increased dramatically, and the drive has become heavyweight, which may be a misunderstanding, but you can join the ranks of good people! It is really recommended over carbon.

Dai-chan junior high school teacher (Experience:11〜20 years) 7 half-finished sheets

      Player reviews

To be honest, there is no reason to use this racket
First of all, the shot feeling is fluffy.
According to the catalog, it was written that the shot feeling of Marieki increased the momentum.
It's true that the shot feeling is similar, but with 7 plywood, this shot feeling feels strange.
Since the average weight is 95 grams, I think that I will not touch it unless I am confident in the considerable power.

I own an 89 gram individual
The momentum is a little more bouncy than Clipper Wood, THE 7 plywood
However, I felt that the flight distance was longer than the other 7 plywood.
      Inquiries seem to be strong.

The biggest attraction of this racket is that the ball goes up
I think that net mistakes are unlikely if it is an upward rotation.

I also tried Rakuza Z, but it goes up considerably, so it supports even the upward rotation of the weak point of adhesion.
I think that the recommended group is intermediate to advanced (people who are confident in power).
Depending on the rubber and the individual, it will easily exceed 200 grams.

      Player reviews

      Yasaka's rackets are all good.
Although this racket has weight and thickness,
      Perfect for power hitters!
The stability of the drive, the grip of the ball
it is perfect! !! Firmly when you want to increase speed
      Will fly.
I will use this racket for the rest of my life. ‥
      As expected, it is Yasaka
