First off, the topspin drive really packs power! (both forehand and backhand)
Serving and receiving are both easy
It's not too bouncy and not too dead, so it's easy to use, but I imagine beginners or less skilled players might find it difficult ♪Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

Normally I use the SK7, so the first thing I noticed with this one is how light it is. A lot of SK7s weigh over 90 grams, but this one comes in at around 85 grams, and that lightness really stood out to me. And being ZLC, it does give you speed. I think this is a great blade for anyone focused on speed.

Good points: First of all, every kind of play is easy to do! The blade weighs 88g on average — some people find that heavy, others light.
(Personally I think it's light.) Since the blade is light, you can swing through with real force, so spin and speed come through strong on every ball and it goes into the opponent's court with ease. Since it uses ZLC, it really bounces well! Even from mid-distance or further back, it still reaches the opponent's court. If I stopped here it would sound like it has no downsides, so let me note the issues too.
Issues: It's a bit pricey. Adults can just buy it and use it without worry, but for elementary/middle/high schoolers, it is kind of expensive, lol.
The shock of breaking it is bigger too, given the price. It's fine if a parent is willing to buy it for a school-age player, but if that's not an option, just buy another racket without complaint, lol.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

This blade is supposedly the same performance as the Innerforce Layer ZLC, but the Apolonia ZLC has more speed.
The control doesn't get any worse — since it still has the Inner ZLC's performance built in, it's easy to control and easy to get spin on too.
Using it, I found the whole range of techniques easy to pull off, and the grip looks so cool it really boosts my motivation, lol.
If it's your first special-material blade, I'd recommend an inner-type over an outer-type.
The Innerforce Layer ZLC's performance isn't worse than the Apolonia ZLC's, so if spending the extra money would hurt, the Innerforce Layer ZLC is perfectly fine too!

I'd tried special-material blades before and quit because they didn't suit me, but I gave it another shot.
Unlike other special-material blades I've tried, this one doesn't feel like an unruly horse at all — it's really easy to use.
The blade is 5.7mm thick, which is on the thinner side, but the ZLC makes up for it in terms of rebound.
Compared to a 5-ply wood blade, the spin is clearly less, but it feels about on par with, or even slightly more than, a 7-ply.
The speed is clearly fast.
That's where the special material really shows.
The topspin drive has a low arc and travels in a way I've never quite seen before.
The short game and fine touches over the table are also easy to do, and out of roughly 10 blades I've tried, this is the easiest to use.
Both topspin drives and flat hits are easy to pull off, so I can recommend it to attacking players in general.
For rubber compatibility, I think any spin-oriented rubber works fine.
For a lower arc go with something like the Fastarc line, and for a higher arc the Rakza X is good.

The first thing I thought when I hit with it was "wait, this is really inner carbon?" It really does put out speed and spin. Even away from the table, the topspin drive just keeeeeeeps extending.
It's the best blade for anyone who plays close to the table or at mid-distance. I really felt like this blade brings out everything the ZL carbon can do.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft
