The spin and control are good, but it doesn't have much speed, so I think it works well paired with a harder rubber.
I used to have Fastarc C-1 on my forehand, which had a nice balance of speed and spin and worked well, but when I switched to Rozena it didn't fly as much and the ball would drop, so even though it adds some weight, I think max thickness is the way to go.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

The feel when hitting reminded me
of a 5-ply blade.Speed isn't all that high, but

The ball holds on the blade amazingly well. It has that distinctive wood flex, plus the bounce and grip you get from a 7-ply. It gives you solid control even with rubbers like the Arylate-Carbon or the P-1. The short game is its biggest strength. Just don't play too far back — staying close to the table for quick attacks, and it even feels like it could work with unusual rubbers or chopping. No problem at all as a step up from beginner to intermediate level. The price is good too, so I'd definitely recommend it.

The other day I looked at the catalog and saw it was a 7-ply at 5.8mm
— that's thin! was my first reaction.
I was curious so I bought one, and...
just like the catalog said, it doesn't bounce much (^ω^)
heh heh heh heh heh
but that means it's easier to put spin on the ball, which
is the conclusion I landed on!!
Well, Nittaku products never miss, and being Japan-made plus low-cost,

It doesn't fly much but gets a good amount of spin, which is nice
I used to use a Kokutaku blade,

I bought this to switch from being a chopper to a drive-focused player!
At first I could hit a stable two-winged game, but
once I faced higher-level players, I often lost out on spin and power....
I think it's good for beginners, but once you get a bit better it might start to feel lacking.
Also, with this blade, no matter what rubber I use, if I bite deep into the ball with spin it doesn't catch much, but
