Fledgling cut Man (Experience: Less than a year) Control

      Player reviews

The control is just amazing. That said, while I'd recommend it for beginners, if you want to move on from basic technique to more advanced skills, I'd suggest switching to a different blade.

You can really only return relatively light balls with this. That said, the control is amazing, so it's great for beginners. Good value for money too.
You see it pop up on Mercari every once in a while.
Also, it might suit choppers a bit. Though you won't get much power out of it.

Attacker overcutman (Experience: 2〜3 years) Racket for beginners

      Player reviews

It's easy to control, and basic techniques like pushes and topspin drives are easy to pull off.
Spin is relatively easy to generate, and I think attacking gets easier if you pair it with an offensive rubber.
That said, the power on your drives will start to feel lacking over time, so for anyone sticking with the sport long-term, I'd recommend a slightly heavier racket.

I found the control really easy to work with, and the speed was decent too.

It fits in my hand really well and is easy to use. It's light, so it's great for the short game over the table.

      I think it's good as a beginner's first blade.
But once you improve it starts to feel lacking, so if you're planning to use one blade for a long time, I'd recommend TSP's SWAT instead.

Paired with a spin-oriented rubber, it's easy to keep rallies going. A soft speed rubber like Fastarc S1 also works well on the backhand.
