      The blade itself is top-class even among Japanese penholds, so I'm adjusting by using a high-elasticity rubber in thin sponge.
      At first I was overshooting a lot, but now I've gotten used to it to the point where my flicks and drives land one after another.

      Being a single-ply blade, it really flies! Spin comes on well too! The feel is the best!
      Just owning a Japanese-penhold blade this good makes me proud.
      I chose this blade because I admired Ryu Seung-min. It pairs great with the 05 too.
      Drives are fast and spin well, while still landing on the table stably. That means you can swing away with confidence. The short game is pretty stable too. Serve receives cut nicely as well.
      It has that characteristic Japanese-penhold ball grip, and it suits any rubber.
      A really great blade.

      Mine weighed 96 grams. Since I'd been using 9mm-class blades like Champion Long or Cypress Alpha, it felt a bit heavy.
      Also, the ball leaves the blade fast, and even with Mark V HPS I felt it was too bouncy for my level of strength. A slightly softer rubber might have made a difference, but I couldn't put enough spin on the ball to keep it on the table.
      I ended up letting it go before I got used to it, feeling it just wasn't for me, but I think it would be great for players with strong arms or anyone looking to boost the power of a single big shot.

      I used this quite a few years ago. I had Bryce (thick) glued on...
      but it flew way too much, and I couldn't use it at all.
      So I sold it right away.
      It was so intense I wondered if anyone besides a pro could actually use it.
      I can't recommend it to anyone below pro level.
