There are not many noteworthy defense blades in the table tennis market. The andro® research team has lined up to introduce a further notable blade: andro® PARADE DEF! The thin and utmost fine blade construction enables precise and dreamlike counters against topspin attacks. Handle measures have been worked over and adjusted to a defense player’s requirements whilst the blade sheet has a perfect length-width-relation. Through the blade geometry’s optimization PARADE DEF provides an enlarged sweetspot and perfect balance. The blade masters opponents’ strokes superbly until you get the chance to break away from defense to attacking. In this position the blade provides all its secureness to make your attack a successful one. A real highlight among defensive blades of the modern era.

Kenta Shot (Experience: 11〜20 years) Defense-focused

      Player reviews

A classic, defense-oriented blade. For attacking, the bounce feels a bit weak, maybe because the blade is large. That said, the feel is good, and being a large blade makes it easy to get a feel for chops and lobs. Above all, it's easy to put spin on the ball. Almost nobody who buys this racket regrets it — it's a "can't-go-wrong" blade for chopping, so I'd recommend it if you're not focused on attacking.

The blade is large but thin.
That said, the bounce isn't too weak either - I'd call it just average, I guess (lol)
It's a balance-type blade. I'd say it leans slightly toward defense.

Chops are stable, but I wouldn't say it's especially easy to put heavy backspin on them.
It's the kind of blade where you make solid contact and return the ball solidly.
Pushes are rock solid, so I think it's good for chop-dominant players.
The bounce isn't bad either, so attacking isn't out of the question.

That said, if you put a soft rubber on it, the feel becomes mushy and unpleasant.
A harder rubber probably suits it better. Personally, I'd want to use inverted rubber on both sides.
