celebrate (Experience: 6〜10 years) Light, and keeps all the good of a single-ply

      Player reviews

I was looking for a reversible single-ply blade and picked this one. Single-ply blades keep getting more expensive, so I figured I'd get one now while I could.
It's an honest, comfortable blade with that classic single-ply feel. I use short pips on the forehand, and I can play the short game without the ball flying too far, and on hard hits it doesn't hold the ball too long — it snaps back nicely. It's also very stable when driving with inverted rubber on the backhand.
I have lightweight rubber on both sides, and even with both at thick, the total weight came in under 150g.

Yama (Experience: 6〜10 years) Has the softness of a single-ply blade

      Player reviews

It's a single-ply blade, but it doesn't bounce much and has great control. It's a blade that makes it easy to put spin on drives.
It's not suited to people looking for single-ply speed, but since it's lightweight, you can adjust by putting on a harder, heavier rubber. I think it'd be good for people who find a two-sided Chinese-penhold setup too heavy.
