      I think this is a hidden gem.

      It's one of those ALC-type blades that are trendy right now,

      but maybe because of the wood construction, the ball-holding feel is great.
      Compared to harder inner-carbon type blades, like the ones with an inner ZLC,
      this one holds its own just fine.

      The feel is really pleasant too.

      I also own a Viscaria and a Timo Boll ALC, but I feel like this one has better balance.
      Donic isn't that well known for blades, but all of theirs are good,
      and I think this is one of the better ones in their lineup.

      In winter the rubber gets harder and the ball-holding feel drops, so my plan is to balance things out by using a Zhang Jike ALC in summer and this one in winter.

      Side note, but I won a Tohoku regional tournament using this blade.
      Results obviously come more from skill than equipment, but as far as equipment goes, I think this one is really good.

      Chinese rubber user (Experience: ６〜１０ years) Viscaria with better ball-hold

      First off, the grip and performance are similar to the Viscaria — I feel like the ball-holding sensation is a bit better than the Viscaria, but in exchange the speed is a little slower. The backhand swings easily, and it pairs well with tacky rubber too, so it makes sense that Zhou Yu uses it. If you're an intermediate player, I'd recommend this one over the Viscaria.
