      First off, the grip design is great!
      Every Donic blade looks stylish, and that's the best. Looks matter.

      Performance-wise, the overall balance is excellent, and small techniques feel easy to pull off.
      The downside is that speed is a bit lacking, so if you want speed, you'll need to make up for it with your rubber choice.

      I do feel the Waldner blade is really more for advanced players. It's a blade where you gain the advantage through control, spin, the short game, countering, and blocking, rather than just muscling through with speed.
      Without the skill to bring out the blade's strengths, it turns into just an average blade. In my case, I didn't have the ability to make the most of it.

      First off, the grip design is great!
      Every DONIC blade has such a stylish feel to it, looks matter.

      Performance-wise, it has an excellent overall balance, and my impression is that small technical shots are easy to pull off.
      The downside is that the speed is a bit lacking, so if you want more speed you'll need to make up for it with your rubber.

      I think the Waldner blade is really more for advanced players. Rather than powering through with sheer speed, it's the kind of blade that gives you an edge through control and spin, and in the short game, counters, and blocks.
      Without the skill to bring out the blade's strengths, it turns into a pretty ordinary blade. In my case, I didn't have the ability to make the most of it.

      17 years of use of Waldner racket (stopped from getting tired at (Experience: １１〜２０ years)

      I'm using the Waldner Senso Carbon (Nittaku version). This isn't a review of the current DONIC version, so the performance might differ, sorry about that.
      The reason I keep using this blade is that it makes even someone as unskilled as me look reasonably decent. This is purely based on my own feel, but:
      - The speed itself isn't all that high, but if you hit the sweet spot with a full swing you can get a fair amount of speed.
      - I'd say it grips spin well. Loop drives especially are easy to do.
      - Control honestly changes a lot depending on the rubber you use, so it's a mixed bag... but blocks and counters are stable.
      - The feel on contact is probably a matter of taste, but there's a good amount of sensation that comes through to your hand.
      - As for hardness, I feel some flex in it when you swing all the way through. I'd call it more on the soft side than hard.
      I've written a lot here, but over my not-so-long table tennis life, after switching blades several times, I always end up coming back to this one. Nothing about it really stands out, but it lets you try all kinds of techniques and feels stable, I think it's the kind of blade that makes you go "table tennis is fun," if that makes sense.

      A friend of mine uses this so I borrowed it and tried hitting with it
      It was set up with MX-P on the forehand and Omega V Pro on the backhand, and the ball-holding feel was excellent, making it easy to put spin on the ball
      It's a blade with carbon in it, but in a good way it didn't really feel like a carbon blade, it gave the impression of a bouncy 5-ply wood blade.

      This blade is ideal for attacking, and even with attacking rubber on it, you can still play controlled defense. It feels comfortable and has good weight to it. My backhand rubber is Donic Alligator DEF, a long pips rubber.

      For a carbon blade, the bounce is pretty mild
      It flexes quite a bit

      Compared to a stiff, rock-hard carbon blade this is much easier to use
      If you're someone who thinks carbon blades bounce too much to control, this might be worth trying

      It gives a nice arc, so chiquita is pretty easy to pull off
      Serves with heavy backspin come up easily too

      That said, it's not suited for players who want to power through with sheer force
      I'd recommend this to intermediate players who want to try a carbon blade
