seisei Behold the looks and performance

This blade looks great, above all else. But it's not just about looks — the performance is solid too. Here's what's good about it.
1. Easy to put spin on
2. It's a classic 5-ply all-wood blade, so the control is good
3. For an all-wood blade, it has decent bounce and stability too
Points to watch out for
1. The feel is a bit unusual, kind of hollow/plasticky
2. The back of the grip is a little rough. (You need to sand it down a bit, otherwise it'll hurt your hand.)
Overall it's well balanced and suits anyone looking for stabilityOverall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

Whether it's thanks to or because of the NCT, it bounces like crazy. If you put tension rubber on it, all you get is balls flying long. I think it's meant for tacky rubber. Also, since it's NCT, it feels heavy. I think only advanced players with strong arms can really make use of it.

There's no other blade this well balanced.
- Looks (oozes a premium feel)
- Feel (just the right hardness)
- Bounce (plenty of bounce for a 5-ply blade)
- Short game (extremely easy)
- Drives (extremely easy)
- Grip (the LEG grip is especially comfortable to hold)
- Flex (a lot of it)Even now with plastic balls, everything about this blade is perfect.
It's a bit pricey, but if you can afford it, please give it a try.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

Mr. Yu (Experience: 6〜10 years) Drives feel great, pace control is free

Originally I had a specialty composite blade with tension rubber on both sides.
My weapons are power drives and mixing up variation and pace on blocks.
What surprised me using this was that it produces more power than I expected. I can really put spin on the ball, so mistakes on loop drives and in rallies dropped dramatically.
Also, switching between blocks that go long, extending the ball, and stopping it got a lot easier.
If I had to pick one downside, and this might partly be because I have tacky rubber on both sides, it's that meet-hit shots like smashes don't come out very fast.
But if you really put spin on the ball, you can get speed that rivals tension rubber, so I'd recommend this to anyone thinking about switching to tacky rubber.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

Why (Experience: 11〜20 years) A gentle hitting feel

85g SSTR. From the reviews, I got the impression the rosewood top ply would be hard and awkward to use, but that's not the case at all — the feel is on the soft side, and it bounces a little more than the Clipper Wood CR. Drives come out with a lower arc. It's a bit flat, but if you put spin on it, it lands right on the table. Blocks and returns don't go wild either, staying on a flat trajectory. It's a blade that's very easy to use for both offense and defense. I recommend the grip-limited SSTR.

Medium Pen Researchist (Experience: 11〜20 years) Never seen a blade like this

This is my new partner. Since I have tacky rubber on my forehand, I felt like I was a bit short on speed, but I was surprised by the incredible control and spin that made up for it. I'd been using a carbon blade before, so having a blade that lands this consistently feels refreshing. And my backhand shots are landing better than ever — not just the first shot, but stringing together consecutive backhand shots got a lot easier too. I'm glad I found this blade.

30 man (Experience: 11〜20 years) Great for the short game

Since the top ply is on the harder side and the inside is softer, the feel is on the firmer side for light-to-medium hits, probably because of that top ply. On harder hits, the impact reaches the inner layers too, so the hardness eases up and the feel gets a bit softer. That said, even on hard hits, it still feels a bit stiffer compared to typical 5-ply blades like the Allround Evolution or Korbel.
On the flip side, it doesn't have that much bounce, which made it easy to control — about the same as the Allround Evolution. Because it doesn't bounce much in particular, the short game is easy, and flicks, redirects, and pushes went where I aimed pretty easily.
If you're good at brushing the ball, I think you'll find it very easy to put a lot of spin on.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard
