Among 7-ply blades, this one has a softer feel, which makes it easier to put spin on your serves.
Even so, softer doesn't mean it lacks the power you'd expect from a 7-ply — you can still block a hard hit without getting pushed back.I use the ST grip, but the rounded grips common on a lot of recent blades never quite suited me, so I really appreciate a squared-off grip like this one, which you don't see much of anymore.
It also pairs well with a wide variety of rubbers, and I think it's easy to use no matter what you put on it.
One thing to watch out for is that if you put heavy rubbers on both sides, it gets pretty heavy overall.
(Mine weighs 87 grams for the blade alone.)I think this is a great blade that works for everyone from beginners to advanced players.

It's pretty easy to use. That said, it's not a great fit if you want a lot of power.
It's perfect for rally-style play. On top of that, it works well with pretty much any rubber.

It's a balanced blade without any single standout trait. It feels like something between the Swat and the Swat Power, I'd say. Basically it's the honor-student type that handles everything competently. If I had to pick one thing, the grip is pretty squared off and didn't quite suit me.

I used the ST grip and it's easy to hold.
It doesn't have much speed,
but the control is good.
Also it bounces more than I expected.

I used Jupiter II Blue on the forehand and Raigan on the backhand. It's listed as averaging 86g, but I bought a light 81g specimen, so even with a heavier rubber on it, I could swing it around with no trouble. The ST grip is a squared-off shape close to the Timo Spin grip. Being 7-ply, it has more bounce and pop than a 5-ply, but it's naturally less bouncy than a flying blade like the SK7 or Clipper. At 6.1mm the ply is quite thin for a 7-ply, so you can really put spin on the ball. I tried both tension and tacky rubbers and both felt good. Being 7-ply, it releases the ball easily, so it felt like a good match for short pips and long pips too. It doesn't have any single standout trait, but it strikes a nice balance of bounce and spin along with a versatility that works with pretty much any rubber. Since it's lightweight, I'd recommend it to players who want more bounce than a 5-ply while using heavier rubbers like tacky sheets, players who want more spin than a special-material blade gives them, and players running an off-rubber on the backhand.

I was using a 5-ply blade before (with the same rubber), but I wanted a bit more bounce, so I switched to this one.
It has way more bounce than the 5-ply did. That said, it's slightly less bouncy than other 7-ply blades, which makes it really easy to control. I'd recommend it to anyone thinking about moving up from 5-ply to 7-ply!Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

This is a light, easy-to-use 7-ply blade.
I use the straight handle, and it's fairly angular in shape (in the Timo Boll Spirit style).
The maker says the bounce is toned down, but it actually bounces quite a bit. On top of that, the balance between bounce and ball-holding is good.
