    This blade has a similar ply formation to Ovtcharov No. 1 Senso but is slightly heavier. In contrast to Ovtcharov No. Senso the handle does not have the Senso technology. The weight distribution is therefore different, and the blade appears to be more balanced. The careful production with the combination of high class Acryl Carbon plies guarantee a blade that is absolutely top class.

      It has a squared-off grip so
      it's easy to hold!

      The blade shape follows the Wang Liqin shape
      and felt bigger than the listed size.

      When you hit with it, since it's an inner-type blade
      it grips the ball and flies incredibly well.
      I never lose a topspin rally.

      I demoed this at a table tennis shop. It's an inner-carbon type, and you get a real sense of the ball gripping the blade. You can get solid spin on it, and the speed is fast too. The arc is on the higher side, so topspin drives land consistently. I think this is a blade that shows unmatched strength in rally exchanges.

      I'd heard that while it's basically an attacking blade, it also has a defensive side to it, so I was curious and bought it. The weight of this blade is balanced toward the grip. My first impression was that it lets you produce sharp chops. Since it's built for attacking, smashes and the like go in more satisfyingly than with a traditional defensive blade. That said, it does fly quite a bit, so it's not really something I'd recommend to beginners. It's better to buy this after you've built up the basics of chopping.

      I bought this because I was curious about the new blade in the Ovtcharov series.
      Before this I had a Butterfly Freitas ALC, and I've also used the Innerforce ZLC, so I'll compare against those.
      Compared to those two, this one bounces harder while still feeling soft on contact — it's a strange combination.
      (Ball-holding feel: the Innerforce is actually better on that front, precisely because it doesn't bounce as much.)
      Also, the FL grip is flatter, which makes it easier for me to get angle and power out of it — I personally like that.

      Apparently Ovtcharov borrowed Ma Long's blade, liked it, and asked Donic if they could make him the same one, and that's how this blade came about.
      Actually, Ovtcharov himself reportedly uses the Ovtcharov No.1 Senso (said to be the SPZLC national-team spec), which is harder than the normal No.1.
      That's probably why it's so expensive (lol)

      The actual blade size was 159mm and elongated, different from the officially announced dimensions (lol)
      So basically it's the old Innerforce ZLC made slimmer in width, longer, and with even more flex.
      Good news for anyone who didn't get on with the Layer ZLC.

      This blade doesn't lose out on spin, and it's reassuring that you can play with it even against hard ABS balls.
      If it were a bit harder you could get even more spin, but if the spin comes on too easily it gets hard to control the ball on the receive, so the normal ZLC Ovtcharov No.1 is probably the safe choice (lol)

      【Note】Depending on the individual blade you get, you might end up with a dud that barely bounces — not even funny.
