The lens-style grip design is what I'd recommend it for, lol.
The blade is thin, so it's easy to handle and pairs well with pretty much any rubber.

The balance on this one is really good.
A lot of reviews compare it to the Viscaria, but personally I think it's a different blade with its own new character rather than just a Viscaria clone.

These days most rubbers are tension rubbers and the technology has come a long way, to the point where some of them bounce so much you could call them rocket launchers, so I'd been avoiding outer-ply blades that bounce a lot.

But with this blade, since the ply is thin, the blade itself doesn't bounce all that much,
so it never ended up feeling like too much bounce.
It keeps the power you get from an outer-ply construction while toning down the bounce, and personally I really appreciate that.

Even with the bounce toned down, it's still an outer-ply blade, so pair it with tacky rubber and it definitely still bounces.
It reminds me a bit of the Carbonado 45, though the feel on contact is completely different.

Even with an outer-ply build, the spin is relatively easy to generate, and thanks to the aramid carbon and thin ply, it makes up for it properly.

Just like they said in Table Tennis Kingdom, it really is a Viscaria. Good bounce, and it's easy to put spin on.
It also pairs well with tacky rubber — I have Hurricane Turbo Orange on it. It's probably suited to players who attack with drives on both sides. The blade thickness is 5.5mm, so it's on the thin and light side.
If you want a Viscaria without paying full price, this might be worth considering.

First of all, it's easy to get spin on the ball. I bought it as my second blade, and it's on a completely different level from my previous one. I went with the ST handle, but it's easy to hold securely. The best part is the Ovtcharov lens on the grip end — seeing it every time is oddly soothing.

This is a blade I wanted for a while at one point. But when I actually test-hit it, it wasn't quite what I expected... They say it's thin and easy to put spin on, but if that's the case, I feel like a wood blade would do just fine (just my opinion). There's no standout high performance, but there's nothing bad about it either. That said, once you're at the level where you're using carbon blades, you tend to build your game around exploiting their strengths, so it didn't leave me with that strong an impression. Still, it's a good blade no doubt. Like Ovtcharov, it's easy to use with both hands close to, at mid-distance from, and far from the table. Rallies at mid-distance in particular really show off what carbon can do. Maybe you could drop the price a little, Donic...

I was looking for a blade with a grip that has no special gimmicks but still gives good ball quality.
The "Dimaniki" grip-lens design looks so cool!
I think this will be my go-to for the next few years.
