I love this paddle. It's the first paddle I've gotten since I started playing about six months ago. Before that, I was just using some junky paddle at work that I have no idea how old it was or when it started falling apart. This paddle made a huge difference! I actually started feeling like trying to put spin on the ball was making a difference! After playing with this paddle for a few months, I'm putting spin on the ball at the same level as some people who've been playing for years.

I also have a Timo Boll ALC. I've been using this one since October 2019. It's a bit slower than the TB ALC, but the control and feel are far better. Unlike the TB ALC, it has two wood layers on top of the ZL carbon (ZLC). The TB ALC only has one wood layer, which improves feel and maneuverability but sacrifices a bit of speed. It weighs around 87-88g. I'd rate its offensive category somewhere between OFF and OFF+. It's similar to the Butterfly Innerforce Layer ZLC, but much cheaper.

I'm using this as my third racket.
Forehand: Rundel Hard (medium-thick)
Backhand: Hexer Grip (thick)
Grip: FlareThe first thing I noticed is how well it grips the ball, which made it easy to put spin on. The short game and loop drives were really easy to do!
Rallying from away from the table felt tough, but rallying close to the table or at mid-distance should be no problem!

I switched over from Mizuno's Fortius, and this one doesn't have that over-flying carbon feel — every shot feels more stable. It grabs the ball nicely and drives come up cleanly. I'm still a beginner so I don't know how useful my opinion is, but I can tell it's a well-balanced blade. Now all I need is the skill to make the most of it...

I wanted a new blade and bought this one.
In a word, this blade is extremely well-balanced!
On forehand drives, the ball lands with a clean arc even when your form is off-balance. The spin is insane too — the person receiving my shots said the ball was so heavy she could barely get it back.

I'd given up on the Innerforce Layer ZLC because of the price, so I bought this one instead since it has a similar ply construction. I got it for just over 10,000 yen. Cheap.
In a word, it's a highly balanced blade.
Serve: cuts low and short without going wild.
Receive: no trouble at all.
Forehand drive: it grabs the ball. Easy to produce a high arc, and the shot lands consistently with a stable trajectory. On a hard impact it gets the carbon-typical distance even from away from the table.
Backhand drive: also a high arc, hard to miss with.
Block: no wildness, so it's easy.
Counter: it grabs the ball quite well, so it's easy to do.
All in all, there's really no technique that feels hard to execute — the overall balance is the standout feature.
The thing that most impressed me while playing was the stop. Not just a plain dead stop — a cutting stop also feels really good off it. It's easy to put cut on without trying hard, and it stays low. High marks there.
