Similar to Innerforce Layer ALC with moderate speed and the "feeling of grasping the ball", the blade size was designed slightly larger.
It is a racket that supports aggressive forehand and backhand play.

Since the blade is a bit bigger, it feels quite heavy once you put rubbers on.
My sense is it feels about 5g heavier than a regular blade of the same total weight.Because it grips the ball well, it's easily affected by incoming spin.
That said, it also has a wide margin for error, and if you counter properly, it has the potential to chiquita right through even a pure backspin ball.
However, that's true in practice — in an actual match it's difficult unless you're a player who can maintain a perfect contact point and swing.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Soft

I used the FL (straight handle), weight 85g.
Compared to the Innerforce Layer ALC, the bigger blade head means mishits still land on the table. The balance point shifting toward the tip increases power when you swing through properly, but you notice the racket's weight more.
With rubbers attached, the Innerforce ALC comes to 187g versus the Harimoto Inner ALC at 181g — 6g lighter — but on topspin drives the Innerforce Layer feels lighter and easier to swing.
I picked a lighter unit, but even so, pairing both sides with German-made rubbers seems tough. I think it's safer to at least put a relatively light Tenergy on one side.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

I thought the Harimoto Tomokazu blade has a big head and a wide sweet spot.
I think Dignics or Tenergy are the mainstream choice for the Harimoto blade, but I think Hurricane could work too. For the backhand, I think it's better to pick a rubber that's forgiving with anything.With Hurricane, if you hit through the ball and put spin on it, you get really great shots. If you're always careful about your contact point, you can make it work.

This is a racket that a lot of top players are using lately.
I tried it with Dignics 05 on both sides, just like Harimoto, and it was easy to put spin on and had good control,
while also being able to deliver real power on a single shot — it was truly a racket with nothing to complain about.
Early units tended to run very heavy and demanded a certain kind of player,

First, about the rubber, which matters a lot when choosing a racket: this was the racket where R48's performance really shined the most.
Now onto the main topic, the racket's performance. Being an Innerforce blade, it has better ball grip compared to outer-ply blades. As the title says, I don't think it lacks speed at all. I don't think the bounce is inferior to outer-ply blades either. If those are the strengths, the one downside is that it's a bit heavy. But with any racket, if you keep using it, you get used to the weight, so I don't think it's a problem.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

Pairs really well with Dignics 05!! No wonder Harimoto himself uses it. I figured that being an inner blade it would focus on spin and not fly much, but it actually has amazing grip on the ball and still flies! Personally I think tacky rubbers suit it well.
